Invitation to the Conference "Animal Rights"

Dear friends,

Association of protection, monitoring and recovery of animals R.E.A.D.C. Romania, in collaboration with Tasso e. v. Germany and Law Students Association, invites you, in October 4, 2014, on the occasion Animal International Day, at 5 pm, in the Amphitheater "Nicolae Titulescu" of the University School of Law Bucharest, BD. Mihail Kogălniceanu nr. 36-46, sector 5, at the AWARD CEREMONY OF VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS, who fought for animal rights, awareness raising and informing the citizens.

This meeting is a true "Oscar of animal protection", which will be attended by guests from the country and abroad.

Faculty of Law students, lawyers, experts in animal rights and different activists will explain the importance of and the need to protect those who cannot do it themselves.

Animal law is a new area in the young democracy in Romania and, like any new thing, it causes fears, reticence, so it should be explained, cultivated, in order to reach the level of acceptability and Western culture in the field of animal protection.

During the meeting, 25 prizes will be awarded, consisting in vouchers for animal food. Associations and individuals will be awarded, in reverence and gratitude for their years of hard work and voluntary sacrifice.

The winners will be selected by ballot from among those present.
