ONE MORE STEP AHEAD FOR SULINA CITY

          The free castration/sterilization campaign of dogs and cats with or without owner from Sulina city, organized by our association and Tasso e. V. Germany has ended!

          We would like to thank the team of veterinarians coordinated by Mr. Mircea Stefanache, who managed to cast in 3 days a total of 110 animals, out of which 71 dogs and 39 cats. Adding the results from the previous campaign, it reaches a percentage of about 50% of the canine and feline population of the city.

          This is the third year in which we carried out actions of citizen information, microcipation, rabies vaccination and deparazitation of domestic carnivores in Sulina, and the second year in which we pride ourselves with the successful castration/ sterilization campaign, which we will continue in the autumn.

          At the same time, guided by the principle according to which the sense of responsibility emerges from fragile ages, during our stay in Sulina, we organized actions for informing and empowering students from secondary and high school classes. They were given free R.E.A.D.C.’s ABC with useful information and tips to maintain the health and well being of their pet.

          For a better performance of all the actions in Sulina, the team of R.E.A.D.C. has donated to the city a modern container, located in the courtyard of the Old School, used as a center of information, help and empowerment of citizens.
