October 10, 2020 - World Dog Day

No other animal in the world has as many dedicated days as the dog.

Already on the first Sunday in June, "Dog Day" in Germany and on August 26, "National Dog Day" in the United States, all dedicated holidays "man's best friend ".

Without officially establishing, it has been shown in the media in the last 20 years that on October 10, World Dog Day will be celebrated.

No animal has been so closely linked to human cultural history as long as the dog.

The day is an opportunity to get directly involved with "man's best friend." Lovers can do a lot for the dog at home, as well as for stray dogs.

Here are some suggestions on what to do:

• Dog Time -Allow daily time and dinner walks.
• Prevention - is the best protection
• Be responsible and involved in the following ways avoiding uncontrolled abandonment and multiplication !! !
• Register the animals.
• Treatments / Food.
• Mandatory castration.
• Adopt regionally.
• Analyze the involvement against illegal trade in puppies and abuse - please do not buy dogs from dubious sources! Serious breeders do not hide their puppies or anyone.
• Support the animal shelter or the local animal welfare organization on the day of the action and help practically or with a donation!
• And against the abuses of the authorities that do not apply the animal protection legislation, do not apply the national program for combating zoonoses and refuse to collaborate with NGOs or civil society according to the laws in force.
